The Normal Life center is a social service to support independent living and enable people with mental disabilities and illnesses to live in their own apartment with just a little help from an assistant.
The client and assistant agree on what help will be provided, for example, trips to the doctor, cooking, housework etc. A Normal Life was was founded in 2014 as the fourth center of the PFERDA z.ú. organization.
The mission of the Normal Life center is to enable independent living with the least amount of assistance possible. The center works with in the field, meaning that assistants go to the clients.
We help clients improve their work and social skills and habits through lifelong learning.
We strengthen their independence and self-confidence, and strive to have them manage as many things as possible without outside assistance.
We help clients to manage as many personal matters as possible in offices, shops and for services.

• Clients live in their own apartment or a leased apartment • Assistants are paid
• To use Normal Life services, client’s must first sign a contract
• Every client has their own individual plan, detailing what they need assistance with
• If the client is dissatisfied with something, he or she can file a complaint.
A Normal Life services can be used by people aged 18 and up with mild to moderately severe mental disabilities, possibly mental illness, who live in Rychnov nad Kněžnou, Náchod or Trutnov and surrounding area.
A Normal Life services are intended for:
